I had an absolutely incredible experience at Newfound sushi, and a big part of that was thanks to Anna, our amazing server! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make our visit special. We were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, and Anna made it unforgettable by surprising us with a delicious cheesecake for dessert. Her thoughtful gesture, warm personality, and impeccable service truly made our evening feel personal and memorable. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—some of the best we’ve ever had. Combined with the outstanding service from Anna and the cozy atmosphere, it made for a perfect dining experience. Thank you, Anna, and the entire team, for making our celebration so special. We’ll definitely be back soon!

If you want GOOD food in this area, then don’t miss this restaurant. It’s a bit on the expensive side. We went all in and ordered 3 signature rolls, 3 appetizers and drinks and with taxes and a decent tip we paid around 150. Expensive but totally worth it in a place where all you find is fast food and deep fried food. The service was great! The server was very attentive and took her time to walk us through the menu and suggested all the popular items.

This sushi was absolutely incredible, you can definitely taste the freshness from the local seafood. They weren’t slacking on stuffing their rolls or the size of them. It was a bit of a wait for them to make everything and pricey, but for the amount you’re getting and the quality I had no regrets. Only issue is, I wish I got more, it was the best sushi I’ve ever had. And with such a large menu I had trouble choosing what to get.

If you’re looking for an exceptional dine-in experience in Corner Brook, this place is a must-visit. The food was outstanding—I tried the sashimi, and the presentation was absolutely stunning. I also had the stir-fry and vegetable ramen, and both were fantastic. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The restaurant is always busy, so I’d highly recommend making a reservation. We didn’t have one, but luckily, they found a way to accommodate us. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick to respond, making the experience even better. If I find myself in Corner Brook again, this will be my go-to spot for dinner!

I've eaten sushi all over Canada and in the Caribbean but this place was incredible. Definitely the best I've ever eaten. Try the sushi pizza!

We dropped in to this restaurant bc we were driving through Corner Brook, in the mood for sushi and the reviews were great. DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The food was fresh, the staff were on point with a good old Newfoundland welcoming and aside from a bit of an awkward location, the atmosphere upstairs was incredible. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone and look forward to returning the next time I'm in the area!

Best sushi I've ever had! Incredible selection and great desserts too. The place is very nice on both floors. Kind and helpful staff. A must go if you're in the area.

Staff were fantastic. Very busy but very attentive. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but for every meal served it looks like 4 more were going as takeout. Presentation of dishes 10/10. Quality of dishes 10/10. Flavor of dishes 10/10. It was the first time I've been offered premium Wasabi. I'm not sure what was in it, but it was very good. Prices were a little higher than restaurants back home but I can say that this might be the best Sushi I've had on the Island.
